The Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) team is dedicated to creating a safe, healthy, and sustainable workplace for all employees. About the role - you will:

As an EHS professional supporting the Woodlands W3 site, you will play a key role in driving workplace safety, environmental compliance, and sustainability programs.

  • Lead and manage site EHS programs, including regulatory compliance, audits, incident management, operational risk assessments, and KPI reporting.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute emergency preparedness activities, including evacuation drills, spill response exercises, and Fire Safety Management responsibilities.
  • Drive environmental compliance initiatives, including greenhouse gas reporting, carbon management, waste reduction programs, and mandatory regulatory reporting.
  • Implement and sustain corporate EHS programs covering chemical management, contractor safety, PPE, ergonomics, hazardous waste management, equipment safety, and fire life safety.
  • Partner with stakeholders across the organization to integrate EHS requirements into business operations, new processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lead site EHS training, awareness programs, and compliance activities to strengthen EHS culture and employee engagement.
  • Support internal, corporate, regulatory, and ISO audits, ensuring timely closure of findings and ongoing compliance.
  • Provide additional EHS support and special projects as assigned by the EHS Manager.

Your experience includes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environment, Health & Safety (EHS), Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Registered MOM Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) and certified SCDF Fire Safety Manager (FSM).
  • Certified Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Manager and/or SCEM Certified Energy Manager (SCEM).
  • Experience managing EHS programs, audits, compliance activities, emergency preparedness, and environmental reporting within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Working knowledge of Singapore EHS regulations, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and environmental sustainability initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Our Woodlands site is one of the largest electronics manufacturing sites in Singapore, housing our recording media operations. Spread over three sites, it is easily accessible via bus or from the MRT Station, with many employees taking mass transportation to work.
