We are now looking for an experienced Hardware Development Engineer to join our R&D Singapore Electro-acoustic Development team. You will work closely with the cross functional product development team, as a critical member in our global R&D team to develop our hearing aid devices.
Performs complex Hearing Aids concept design, aided by state of the art software tools and professional measurement setup.
Pioneering new technologies or solutions into next generation of BTE/RIC hearing aid.
Develop, evaluate, troubleshoot and optimize electrical performance as well as implementing EMC solutions on hearing aids.
Quality and Safety verification based on International Standard, American Standard (ANSI) and FDA Class 2 Medical Device.
Ensuring product robustness and in compliance to electrical and EMC regulations
Master / Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
Proficient in schematic and layout review of PCBs for noise, interference and immunity control.
Good analysis skills & systematic thinking of product designs
Familiar with Basic Safety, EMS, ESD, electrical interferences and EMC regulation in MedTech R&D
Experience with electromagnetic modelling and simulation tools such as CST to proactively mitigate electrical issues would be considered an advantage
FMEA, Design to Manufacturability and Design to cost experience
MATLAB and scripting skill for testing and data analysis
Able to work and communicate well in a collaborative environmentInquisitive and Independent with solid communication and organizational skills to work across administrative boundaries
Passionate in audio and medical product development, to bring better hearing to people
