
Senior Engineer - Device Testing - Testing WebRTC-based applications
Key Skills / Requirements:
-5+ years of experience in Manual Software Testing/QA.
-Experience in Device and Web application testing.
-Hands-on experience Testing WebRTC-based applications.
-Strong knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS and web server protocols.
-Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, defect life cycle, and QA processes.
-Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
-Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
Job Responsibilities:
-Perform manual testing of web and real-time communication applications, including functional, integration, system, regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.
-Analyze business and technical requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, test data, and test execution reports.
-Execute end-to-end testing across different browsers, devices, operating systems, and network conditions.
-Perform testing of WebRTC-based applications, including audio/video calls, peer-to-peer communication, call setup/termination, media quality, connectivity, and browser compatibility.
-Validate WebRTC functionality under different network conditions, including latency, bandwidth limitations, packet loss, jitter, and network switching.
-Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using defect management tools, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
-Perform root-cause analysis and defect verification, including regression testing after fixes.
-Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other QA engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.
-Participate in test planning, estimation, requirement reviews, defect triage, and release validation.
-Prepare comprehensive test execution and defect reports and communicate testing status, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
-Contribute to improving QA processes, test coverage, and overall product quality.
