Position: Senior Desktop Support Engineer

Work location: Bangalore

Shift: 12.00 PM to 3.00 AM - 24/7 Rotational

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner always.

• Work with the local IT team to provide support to all GCC employees; respond to work requests regarding installation, configuration and maintenance of laptop/desktop, software, and hardware.

• Responsible for planning and implementation of IT solutions as part of the desktop support Team; ranging from configure new laptops/desktops, System and Microsoft patch update. • Provide daily support to users having issues with hardware and software.

• Takes care of new joiners on boarding to handover assets and configure access.

• Maintain and share asset inventory record periodically as per defined process.

• Work with HR to handle employee onboarding and off boarding process.

• Act as a POC to take care of all local IT needs and support to resolve user issues.

• Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors business.

• Actively work to ensure compliance with SOX, PCI, be adhere to company policy and other audits against the environment.

• Good in vendor management and third party co ordination

• Certifications with Microsoft, Cisco and other relevant authorities in Enterprise IT eco-system are a plus.

• Strong troubleshooting/problem solving/Analytical skills.

• Windows OS Installation and troubleshooting experience.

• O365 administration and troubleshooting experience REQUIRED.

• Proficiency in windows and system patch/update

• Experience supporting users remotely using remote admin tools.

• Experiencing working with and managing monitoring solutions for IT operations, equipment, and application performance such as Solar Winds or other monitoring tools.

• Experience working with incident management ticketing tools.

• Good working knowledge on active directory for user and access management

• Experience working in a 24/7 IT self-hosted environment/Datacenter operations. Must understand redundancy of connectivity both physical and logical.
