Customer Quality Engineer (Senior Engineer, L3)
We areseekinga highly motivated and experienced Customer Quality Engineer (Senior Engineer, L3)to support and enhance customer quality performance for our CMP Pad products The successful candidate will serve as the primary customer quality interface, driving issue resolution, customer satisfaction, product quality improvement, and cross-functional collaboration throughout the product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary quality representative for customers using CMP Pad products.
Manage customer quality issues and complaints, including problem investigation, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and effectiveness verification.
Lead customer communicationsregardingproduct quality, reliability, and technical performance.
Coordinate cross-functional teams (R&D, Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Supply Chain, and Sales) to resolve customer concernsin a timely manner
Drive continuous quality improvement initiatives based on customer feedback, field performance, and quality metrics.
Support customer audits, quality reviews, and technical meetings.
Review and analyze quality data, warranty claims, customer returns, and field performance trends toidentifyimprovement opportunities.
Prepare and present quality reports, corrective action reports (8D), and customer-facing quality documentation.
Participate in new product introduction (NPI) activities to ensure quality requirements are effectively implemented andvalidated
Monitor customer quality KPIs and develop action plans to improve customer satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with internal quality systems, industry standards, andcustomer-specific requirements.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, ora relatedtechnical field.
7+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Customer Quality, Product Engineering, or related functions within the semiconductor industry.
Experience handling customer quality issues and leading problem-solving activities.
Strong knowledge of quality methodologies such as 8D, FMEA, SPC, MSA, CAPA, and Root Cause Analysis.
Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience working with cross-functional and international teams.
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Business-level English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred
Experience with CMP (Chemical Mechanical Planarization) processes, CMP consumables, or semiconductor materials.
Knowledge of wafer fabrication processes and semiconductor manufacturing environments.
Experience supporting global semiconductor customers.
Certification in quality-related disciplines (CQE, Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt, etc.).
Familiarity with customer audit processes and quality management systems such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949.
