Corning Incorporated is hiring a Senior Engineer, Controls in Corning, NY This is a full-time onsite role that typically works Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week, with flexibility as needed to support project objectives. Travel averages approximately 50%, although actual travel may increase or decrease depending on project phase and business needs. Travel is primarily domestic to support multiple locations, and international travel may be required. Relocation assistance is available. This role may also be based in Charlotte, Hickory, or Wilmington, NC depending on business needs.
If you're an automation engineer ready to move beyond single-site maintenance work and get hands-on experience across real capital projects — this is the opportunity to make that move. This position sits within Corning's MT&E Automation Controls Systems Engineering organization, where you'll support controls engineering projects from design and build through installation and commissioning, delivering PLC-based automation solutions for new equipment, factory expansions, and process improvements at Corning manufacturing facilities nationwide. You'll work alongside experienced engineers, plant teams, and system integrators — building the kind of multi-site, multi-phase project experience that seriously accelerates a controls engineering career.

The range for this position is $88,834.00 - $122,148.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
