In this role, you'll:


Working as part of a team delivering technical support and assurance for Signalling & Control Systems and associated assets across the transport network, ensuring safety, resilience, and compliance throughout the asset lifecycle.

This role will see you contribute to engineering standards development, provide expert technical advice, and support digital engineering practices and sustainability initiatives. You’ll be involved in technical investigations, audits, and performance assessments, helping maintain asset integrity and operational efficiency while advancing capability uplift within the team.

You will pioneer improvements in safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment, balancing customer, risk, and operational outcomes.

About you


Your strong technical expertise in railway signalling and control systems, formed across engineering and operational systems roles, will see you deliver robust solutions, overcome technical challenges, and ensure compliance with standards to achieve safe and reliable network operations. You’re recognized as a trusted technical authority, skilled at developing and maintaining engineering standards, and experienced in system integration, assurance processes, and performance analysis within safety-critical environments.
