Job Description

If you are talented in the area of design/verification for IP and SoC, who can handle complexity, quickly establish system understanding, work in a cross-functional environment (concept, analog design, verification, DFT, etc.), understand architectural/design broadly, and develop towards a lead engineer, you should consider getting as part of a strong team of verification engineers in Infineon Automotive Microcontroller family.

Your role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Execute SoC verification tasks and work closely with team members to review and understand the relevant functional and safety related requirements.
• Work and align with different stakeholders to identify verification plans and define SoC verification strategies.
• Execute the verification plan by developing C/C++ testcases and SystemVerilog/UVM testbench components and by integrating 3rd party VIP components.

Your profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• More than 3 years of relevant work experience in Verification.
• Understanding in the usage of tools like Xcelium, Spectre(X) and Simvision.
• Strong foundational knowledge of digital/mixed-signal design & verification.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience of SystemVerilog and UVM.
• Exposure to version-controlling (e.g. Git/Bitbucket, ClearCase, CVS,SVN) and bug-management schemes.
• Good communication with interpersonal skills and collaborative mindset for internal/external partners.
• Self-motivated mindset with flexibility.
• Preferred to have hands-on experience in hardware-software debugging at the system or application level.
• Preferred to have hands-on experience with gate-level-simulations and with debugging/troubleshooting skills.
• Preferred to have understanding in UPF context of analog/transistor level, or basic analog knowledge for debugging purposes.
• Preferred to have experiences in Automotive industry, especially for Functional Safety ISO26262 and Cybersecurity ISO21434.
