Requisition Summary:

PACCAR India is hiring a Senior Engineer (Certified Process Engineer) to work as a contributor in automotive systems projects for medium/heavy duty vehicles.

Job Function / Responsibilities:

  • Lead system engineering activities and ensure compliance with ASPICE and PACCAR standards.
  • Review and approve system-level requirements, test cases, and traceability matrices.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives and coach team members on best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Provide technical leadership in design reviews and audits.
  • Gather and analyze project information to fully understand requirements.
  • Improve ASPICE system-level processes (SYS.4 and SYS.5)
  • Create and maintain databases and dashboards (e.g., Test Cases, Calibration Label Status, Test Reports)
  • Manage bi-directional traceability (Left <-> Right in V-model cycle)
  • Ensure requirement coverage and categorize requirements with test cases
  • Develop and maintain process documentation.

Qualification:

  • BE/B.Tech/M.Tech in either Mechatronics/ Electronics and Communication /Mechanical/Automobile

Required Skills:

  • 6+ years of related experience
  • Domain: Automotive
  • Primary Skill: Certified Automotive SPICE Assessor (Level 1/2), Experienced with ALM tools, including Quality Center (ALM-QC)
  • Certifications: Automotive SPICE Assessor (Level 1 or 2)
  • Proven experience in leading ASPICE assessments and audits, Strong expertise in system architecture and integration, Experienced with ALM tools, including Quality Center (ALM-QC)
  • Good to have IBM DOORS (DNG), MATLAB/Python Scripting experience and exposure to functional safety (ISO 26262)
  • Knowledge of Automotive systems especially in IC Engine and Aftertreatment systems.
  • Familiarity with personal computer software including project management tools, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Knowledgeable in the full process life-cycle software engineering development process for embedded systems.
  • Familiarity with the Agile development process.
