About the role

You’ll join our Engineering Team as a Senior Engineer. You will play a crucial role in driving technical excellence and ensuing your work meets the highest engineering standards.

• Extensive understanding of web applications using Typescript, React and JavaScript.

• Implement solutions quickly to create a seamless experience for our clients

• Clearly communicate any roadblocks, challenges or issues to both the team and key stakeholders

• Implement features, refinements and bug fixes

• Review of other engineers pull requests and providing guidance as necessary.

About your tech experience

We’re looking for someone with 6+ years' experience in a similar role within a cloud-based SaaS company, that:

• Extensive experience with technologies like: JavaScript, TypeScript, React (or similar framework), Web APIs, and Databases such as SQL Server and MySQL.
• Knowledge on public cloud engineering (AWS/Azure) and experience using Cloud native capabilities.
• Is familiar with TailwindCSS or design libraries
• Experience in continuous Delivery, using tools such as Git, PowerShell, etc.
• Cares about clean code, great UX and fast feedback (tests, automation, CI).
• Are comfortable building modern web applications with quick turnaround timeframes.

Bonus points for:

• Experience using Nextjs or AWS (Lambda, SQS , ECS).
• NET engineers that dabble in web tech
• Using AI tools to streamline day-to-day development workflows or for personal projects.

• Contribute to the culture and success of a team by coaching and mentoring engineers.
• You have experience working in small agile teams and love challenging tasks.
• Enjoy contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, optimising performance, and user experience.
• You believe work isn't finished until it's in front of customers.
• You have a strong understanding of the development lifecycle.
• You are an excellent communicator - both written and verbal - and can articulate technical concepts clearly.
• You are open to a healthy debate and willing to convince or be convinced in equal measure.
