The team you will be a part of

The Engineering team discovers, develops and evaluates new product ideas, enhancements, or strategic product extensions, and translates research discoveries into usable and marketable products. Leads, plans and tracks all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace. Coordinates with various functions to ensure successful product development and implementation.

This role in summary

The position is responsible for supporting and executing design and development of component/ module /subsystem in partnership with sub-system engineers by improving the Structural characteristics of Products/Projects through ADAMS MBD Simulations. Builds on organizational/process knowledge, understands business needs. Solves complex problems, trade-offs & prioritizes design decisions.

Your responsibilities will include

  1. Can convert physical / field problem into Simulation problem (BC definition) independently

  2. Perform the MBD simulations, analyze the results, prepare proper report with appropriate conclusions and suggestions to improve the product performance

  3. Coordinate with different functions and stakeholders for project discussions

  4. Lead cross functional projects and coordinate with Internal and external stakeholders.

  5. Document architectural trade offs and learnings.

  6. Interpret lab reports to drive the Simulation design decisions.

  7. Support in generating and recommending the developed engineering concepts and effectively communicate to different stakeholders during Project/ Design Reviews as part of the product development process.

  8. Responsible for converting Consumer Requirements into Engineering Requirements.

  9. Drive the usage of DFMEA, Tolerance stack up analysis and apply DFx (DFA, DFM, DFR, DFS, DFSS) methodologies during product design and development.

  10. Drive / Support material selection based on functional requirements.

Minimum requirements

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

M.E/M.Tech in Mechanical/Automobile/Aerospace Engineering.

Certifications in MSC Adams / Advanced Vehicle Dynamics / MATLAB-Simulink

EXPERIENCE: 2 to 4 Years

Technical Expertise:

  1. Expert in ADAMS/Recurdyne , MDB modelling and linkage knowledge,

  2. Built rigid and flexible body connection models, integrating modal data from ANSYS/Nastran into Adams-Flex

  3. Correlated simulation outputs with physical rig or vehicle test data to improve predictive model accuracy

  4. Collaborated with cross-functional design teams to evaluate design sensitivities on mounting systems and ride quality.

  5. Excellent hands on experience in design calculations

  6. Finite element modeling and analysis using ADAMS. Candidates should have hands- on experience with building rigid/flexible multi-body models, running ride/handling simulations, generating road loads, and automating workflows to reduce physical prototyping cycles

  7. Developed and validated multi-body dynamic subsystem models using MSC Adams and Adams-View.

  8. Performed ride and handling simulations to optimize chassis and suspension performance.

  9. Conducted K&C (Kinematics & Compliance) studies to analyze toe, camber, and caster changes under various load inputs.

TECHNICAL

  1. Knowledge of ADAMS Software.

  2. Knowledge of numerical techniques like Finite Element Method (FEM) and Boundary Conditions (BC).

  3. Basic understanding Structura & Dynamic measurement Data

  4. Proficiency in Simulation tools like ADAMS, Ansys Motion , Recurdyne etc.

  5. Results interpretation skills.

MANAGERIAL

1. Proficient in Soft skills

2. Should have experience in global interaction
