Responsible for supporting the improvement of Structural characteristics of Products/Projects through Ansys (Classic / Workbench) Simulations. Support Plastic Part Design and development with the help of Autodesk Moldflow Injection Molding Simulation.
Responsibilities:
Perform the Structural simulations, analyze the results, prepare proper reports with appropriate conclusions under the guidance of experienced team members.
Awareness in Result interpretation, may need help in design solutions.
Independently handle challenging projects and deliver solutions to stakeholders.
Coordinate with different functions and stakeholders for project discussions.
Pro-active knowledge documentation and sharing.
Perform plastic part design and molding process optimization using simulation and optimization techniques like Design of Experiments.
Technical Expertise:
Ansys Workbench Expert in using Ansys Workbench for simulation and analysis
Thermal & Static Structural Analysis Expertise in performing thermal and static structural analysis, including both linear and nonlinear simulations.
SpaceClaim Proficient in using SpaceClaim for 3D modeling and design.
Design Modular Experienced in design modular techniques for product development and analysis.
Fatigue Life Analysis Proficient in analyzing and predicting fatigue life for components under cyclic loading.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS M.E/M.Tech in Mechanical/Automobile/Aerospace Engineering/ Polymer
EXPERIENCE: 1 - 3 years
Required Technical Experience:
Excellent hands-on experience in design calculations.
Should be able to perform system and sub-system level analysis.
Proficient understanding of materials and manufacturing process (plastics, sheet metal forming, and die casting)
Basic awareness hands on experience in FEA analysis of metal and plastics components.
Ability to understand the physical problem, translate it to a FEA model, and interpreting CAE analysis outcomes to provide design recommendations and solutions.
Should have good knowledge of the Injection Molding Process. (Added Advantage)
Should have good knowledge of Mold Design Concepts. (Added Advantage)
Should have good knowledge of Polymer Materials rheology and Thermodynamics (Added Advantage)
Should have experience of resolving injection molding problems like weld lines,sink marks,warpage using simulation. (Added Advantage)
TECHNICAL
Knowledge of Ansys Software.
Knowledge of numerical techniques like Finite Element Method (FEM) and Boundary Conditions (BC).
Basic understanding Structural Measurement Data
Proficiency in Simulation tools like Hypermesh, Ansys etc.
Results interpretation skills.
Creo Experienced in 3D CAD design using Creo for product design and modeling.
HyperMesh (Added Advantage) Knowledgeable in using HyperMesh for finite element modeling and meshing.
Proficient in Injection Molding Simulation(Cool+Fill+Pack+Warp in MP, DD & 3D mesh) using Autodesk Moldflow s/w. (Added Advantage)
Master in meshing of plastic components and Mold Cooling systems using Altair-Hypermesh and Moldflow. (Added Advantage)
