Senior Engineer – Data Centre Project | Blanchardstown, Dublin
Our client, a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor, is seeking a Senior Engineer to join their team on a major data centre development in Blanchardstown, Dublin. This is a long-term opportunity on a high-profile mission-critical project, offering excellent career progression with one of Ireland’s most respected construction companies. The successful candidate will bring strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and experience delivering large-scale construction projects to the highest quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
Oversee and coordinate engineering activities across key areas of the data centre project
Manage site setting out and ensure all works are delivered in accordance with design specifications
Review drawings, technical submittals, and construction documentation
Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to ensure programme targets are achieved
Monitor quality control procedures and ensure compliance with project requirements
Support the Project Manager in the delivery of project milestones and reporting requirements
Identify and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimise project delays
Ensure all works are carried out in line with health and safety regulations and company procedures
Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and site personnel
Requirements
Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Senior Engineer position on large-scale construction projects
Strong setting out and surveying experience using modern equipment and software
Proven experience working with main contractors on commercial, industrial, or data centre developments
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
Full driving licence and eligibility to work in Ireland
