Job Description

Our client is seeking a Senior Engineer to join their team on a long-term industrial project based in Kildare This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a contractor on a high-value development, contributing to the successful delivery of a complex and technically challenging build. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing site operations, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee daily site engineering activities and ensure alignment with project plans.
2. Coordinate subcontractors and site teams to ensure efficient workflow.
3. Conduct setting out and surveying duties as required.
4. Monitor progress and ensure works are completed to specification and on schedule.
5. Implement and maintain quality control procedures.
6. Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company standards.
7. Liaise with the design team to resolve technical issues.
8. Prepare site reports, records, and documentation.
9. Support and mentor junior engineers and site staff.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
2. 5+ years’ experience in a site engineering role, ideally within civil or industrial projects.
3. Strong technical knowledge of construction methodologies and standards.
4. Proficiency in setting out and surveying equipment.
5. Excellent communication and leadership skills.
6. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment.
