What you’ll do
Enterprise Business Technologies - Finance Solution Delivery team is responsible for delivering high-quality, secure, scalable business solutions to TJX Global Finance business partners. We are seeking a highly skilled, goal-oriented Senior Engineer with good Engineering mindset to join the team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing, configuring, and implementing integration and reporting solutions in SaaS-based applications primarily in Corporate Performance Management. This role will work closely with various Finance business stakeholders and third-party vendors in implementing new business capabilities and enhancing existing business solutions.
As a Senior Engineer, you will be part of talented and high-performing Scrum team that delivers critical value to Finance business partners globally. Your core responsibilities will include:
The ideal candidate is a highly collaborative and has good technical knowledge with right engineering mindset and a cultural fit for the organization.
The candidate should demonstrate curiosity to learn and expand knowledge in new applications and could drive results across cross-functional teams and provide mentorship to junior engineers. They possess good knowledge in enterprise applications and integrations, demonstrate problem-solving and communication skills, and drive technical execution. The candidate should be self-driven, independent-learner, adaptable to changing business priorities, and capable of partnering with both business and technology stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions. Experience in Finance systems, automation, cloud technologies, and Agile delivery frameworks would be highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
CPM Engineering & Platform Ownership
Design, implement, and support CPM platforms (e.g., OneStream, Hyperion, Anaplan, or equivalent), with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and reliability
Own technical design decisions related to CPM architecture, data models, and downstream consumption.
Partner with finance stakeholders to translate business planning, forecasting, and reporting needs into sound engineering solutions
Integration Design & Execution
Design and build robust integrations between CPM platforms and upstream/downstream systems (ERP, data warehouses, reporting tools, source systems).
Apply standard integration patterns (APIs, file‑based, event‑driven) with proper error handling, reconciliation, and observability.
Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex integration, data, and performance issues across environments.
Engineering Mindset & Practices
Apply engineering best practices including code quality, testing, automation, version control, documentation, and peer reviews.
Drive non‑functional requirements (performance, reliability, security, maintainability) as first‑class concerns.
Proactively identify opportunities to improve system health, automation, and operational efficiency
Take end‑to‑end ownership — from design through build, test, deployment, and production support.
Experience aligning testing activities with SOX and audit requirements, ensuring appropriate coverage, controls validation, and audit-ready evidence
Collaboration & Leadership
Partner closely with product owners, finance SMEs, architects, and platform teams to deliver outcomes, not just features.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers, helping raise overall engineering maturity
Contribute meaningfully to design reviews, architectural discussions, and roadmap planning.
What you’ll need

Required Qualifications
Hands-on experience working with Corporate Finance applications.
Proven enterprise integration experience, including designing and supporting complex data flows.
Demonstrated engineering mindset — not just configuration or tool usage.
Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to operate independently in ambiguous situations.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical partners.
Preferred / Nice to Have
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
Familiarity with DevOps / CI‑CD pipelines, infrastructure‑as‑code, or platform engineering concepts.
Prior experience in retail or finance domains
Exposure to vendor coordination and SOW‑based delivery models.
Knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, or close processes beyond technical implementation.
Coaching or informal people‑leadership experience.
