Profile we are looking for:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in finance, economics, engineering, energy, mathematics or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 6–8 years of experience in physical and/or financial energy markets, ideally in a trading, portfolio management or risk management role.
  • Strong understanding of oil, power, carbon and derivative instruments; gas market knowledge is a strong plus.
  • Proven ability to read markets, form independent views and act with conviction under pressure.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative mindset, with a clear focus on performance, risk-adjusted returns and portfolio optimisation.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, intellectual curiosity and appetite for taking ownership in a high-performance trading environment.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders, external counterparties and team members across levels and cultures.
  • Clear, concise communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to explain market views to senior stakeholders.
  • Fluent English; French is a strong plus.
