Job Description

You will be part of the Industrial Relations team responsible for fostering positive tripartite relations between Management, Unions and Employees. The role involves partnering union leaders and office-bearers on industrial relations matters, supporting labour-management initiatives, and contributing to the development and implementation of employee relations and HR policies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Engaging employees and union representatives to maintain harmonious workplace relations.
  • Planning and supporting industrial and employee relations initiatives, events and programmes.
  • Providing advice and support on employment-related matters and HR policies.
  • Analysing workforce and industrial relations trends and preparing reports and recommendations for management.
  • Supporting discussions, negotiations and engagement sessions with union representatives and key stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Degree in any discipline.
  • Relevant experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations or Industrial Relations will be an advantage.
  • Good understanding of Singapore employment legislation and HR practices, including the Employment Act.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Meticulous, analytical and detail-oriented.
  • Demonstrates initiative and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
  • IHRP certification will be an added advantage.
