General Information:

Competitiveness of the embedded software along with the products of SAG is measured according to the efficiency of the development process, methods and tools used. Target of this role shall be to achieve a high degree of automation in development and verification. Especially in the context of Software Defined Vehicle, mastering of DevOps like workstyles based on virtual testbenches in a shared development environment in the cloud for CI/CT/CD and in close cooperation with the customer (with Mass production experience) are of utmost importance.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Define Methods/ workflows/ Tools for a cloud-based DevOps pipelined for HPCs
• Contribute to “proof of concept” including hands-on integration, testing & deployment on target environments (e.g., Linux-based POSIX, QNX, RedHat or alternative systems) and performance validation.
• Elaboration of technical feasibility and presenting to expert communities as well as customers, including workflow proposals, PoC results, and integration concepts for cross-domain SDV use cases.
• Training of developers

Your Qualification:

• University degree in a relevant field (computer science, electronics and communication, information science), master’s degree desired.
• More than 4 years’ experience in Automotive Software technology and experience in international Software projects with global OEM’s, ideally including projects touching ADAS and/or IVI environments and their interfaces to vehicle control functions.
• Expectation is to achieve a high degree of automation in development and verification.
• Deep Knowledge of software development workflows
• Deep Knowledge in cloud environment
• Deep Knowledge and overview on Software build related tools and their dependencies
• Deep knowledge and overview on configuration and change management related tools
• Knowledge about software sharing models
• Knowledge about software metrics and related KPIs
• Knowledge about test and simulation frameworks
• Knowledge about software End of Line Manufacturing processes and security requirements
