In this role, you'll:


Lead enterprise wide process for ensuring Transport NSW is effectively engaged in 100+ national, state, regional and local Emergency Management forums.

Oversee participation in each intergovernmental forum, manage briefing and input processes, represent Transport for NSW at meetings, and monitor contentious issues and actions arising from meetings.

Help strengthen Transport for NSW's reputation as an accountable competent participant in NSW's Emergency Management arrangements.

About you


You bring relevant tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated, relevant, equivalent professional experience.

You are willing to mobilise to respond to and support security, crisis and emergency incidents in a 24/7 operating environment, including on‑call availability outside normal working hours.


You have experience representing organisational positions and managing complex governance and coordination activities, with knowledge of emergency management arrangements and whole‑of‑government processes gained through senior roles in public sector or intergovernmental settings.

You have sound judgement, the ability to manage priorities and deliver on a range of commitments, engage stakeholders and resolve complex issues.
