Senior Electrician – Power Distribution (m/f/d)

Location: Gävle, Sweden | Full-time

EvolveTalent® is supporting a global leader in energy management and power distribution solutions in the search for a Senior Electrician – Power Distribution to join a growing service and project team in Sweden.

This position offers the opportunity to work on large-scale critical infrastructure projects, including modern data centre environments, supporting the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and service of medium- and high-voltage power distribution systems.

We are looking for a hands-on electrical professional who enjoys working in the field, solving technical challenges, and ensuring reliable power distribution for mission-critical facilities.

Your Responsibilities

• Install, commission, test, and maintain medium- and high-voltage electrical equipment
• Work with switchgear, transformers, protection relays, and power distribution systems
• Perform troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs, and fault-finding activities
• Conduct relay protection testing and verification activities
• Support commissioning and energisation of electrical installations
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on customer sites
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations
• Prepare service reports and technical documentation
• Collaborate closely with customers, project teams, and technical specialists
• Travel to customer sites across Sweden when required

Your Profile

• Completed vocational training as an Electrician, Electrical Technician, Power Systems Technician, or similar qualification
• Several years of practical experience within electrical installations, power distribution, substations, switchgear, or industrial electrical environments
• Experience working with medium-voltage and/or high-voltage systems
• Knowledge of relay protection systems, protection testing, or commissioning activities would be highly advantageous
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills
• Ability to work independently and safely in field environments
• Swedish language skills are strongly preferred
• English communication skills
• Valid driving licence

Nice to Have

• Electrician qualification
• Experience within data centres, utilities, substations, or critical infrastructure projects
• Previous experience with electrical service providers.
