Job Description

Focus Region: APAC

We are seeking a senior-level Quality Auditor to support the client's supplier quality audit program across APAC. This role will focus on assessing and evaluating suppliers within the electronics manufacturing
environment, ensuring compliance with client requirements, applicable ISO standards, and industry best practices.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience auditing electronic manufacturing suppliers and facilities, with the ability to assess quality systems, manufacturing controls, process compliance, and operational risks. This person must be able to communicate effectively in English and Mandarin, including reading and writing both languages, to support supplier interactions and audit reporting across the region.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct supplier audits in accordance with client audit processes and requirements.
  • Perform on-site factory walkthroughs and assess manufacturing operations, process controls, and quality systems.
  • Evaluate supplier compliance with client policies, procedures, and applicable international standards.
  • Assess electronic manufacturing processes, including quality control, traceability, inspection, testing, and production discipline.
  • Identify non-conformances, risks, and improvement opportunities, and clearly document audit findings.
  • Review supplier readiness in areas such as manufacturing quality, process control, documentation, safety, and operational execution.
  • Track and communicate audit observations, findings, and follow-up actions in a clear and professional manner.
  • Stay current on relevant standards, regulations, and audit requirements.
  • Promote quality awareness and continuous improvement across the supplier base.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in quality auditing, supplier quality, manufacturing quality, or related function.
  • Strong background in electronics manufacturing
  • Familiar with the IEC standard and relevant electrical code. This is an electrical standard, not an electronics standard. Please change the term EMS to product integrator.
  • Experience in electrical wiring and termination. Familiar with circuit diagrams and electrical gear/panels, and able to perform wiring checks.
  • Experience auditing suppliers or factories involved in electronic products, PCBA, electromechanical assemblies, or related manufacturing environments.
  • Good working knowledge of ISO standards, especially ISO 9001; familiarity with additional standards is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, inspection methods, testing controls, and supplier quality management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage audit activities across multiple suppliers.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin, including spoken, reading, and writing
    capability.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Senior-level experience in supplier quality audits within electronics or EMS environments.
  • Lead auditor certification or formal audit training.
  • Familiarity with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001, or other relevant standards.
  • Experience working with multinational customers and cross-border supplier networks in APAC.
  • Familiarity with client collaboration tools and reporting platforms.
Working Model
  • Full-time role based in Malaysia.
  • Must be able to travel regularly to supplier sites within Malaysia
and across the APAC region as required for audit activities.
