The HVDC Engineering Plant Electrical Design department is responsible for delivering the auxiliary power systems for HVDC stations. Designing these systems is complex and requires close coordination and input from both internal teams and external stakeholders. Our scope includes system design, selectivity studies, equipment specification, and cable and cable transit systems.

The systems we engineer involve equipment such as auxiliary transformers, medium and low‑voltage switchgear, diesel generator systems, batteries, UPS units, and associated cabling.

To ensure safe, reliable, and high‑quality delivery, we are now seeking a Senior Electrical Project Engineer to strengthen our team.

Your Responsibilities

  • Work together with the design team to deliver the department’s scope related to auxiliary power equipment for HVDC stations.
  • Ensure that all deliverables meet the required quality standards and are completed on time and within budget.
  • Support the design team by providing expertise in local standards and regulations.
  • Develop a deep understanding of proposed design solutions and discuss these with customers, equipment suppliers, and civil engineering teams.
  • Coordinate effectively with external suppliers, contractors, and customers to secure alignment and progress.

Your Background

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 6–8 years of technical expertise, ideally complemented by leadership experience including planning, delegation, guidance, and follow‑up.
  • Proven experience in auxiliary power systems, selectivity studies, or the installation/commissioning of low‑voltage equipment.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English and French, as required for both international collaboration and local representation in France.
  • Strong knowledge of local standards, regulations, and customers (e.g., RTE).
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel for customer meetings, supplier visits, and site supervision when required.
  • A proactive, energetic personality with strong decision‑making abilities and a collaborative mindset.

What we offer:

  • An inspiring international environment within a company committed to the energy transition.
  • High value‑added projects at the heart of industrial and technological challenges.
  • Support for your professional development: training, internal and geographical mobility.
  • A collaborative, inclusive company culture focused on innovation.
  • Attractive benefits: competitive compensation, flexible, hybrid, or remote work options.
