At Black & Veatch, we are helping clients modernise, upgrade and develop some of the UK's most important infrastructure assets. As part of our growing Nuclear Infrastructure team, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the design and engineering of facilities, systems and infrastructure that enable the safe operation, maintenance and expansion of nuclear sites.
This is an opportunity to work on technically complex, high-profile projects that support the UK's energy and infrastructure goals. Importantly, this role focuses on the engineering and design of electrical infrastructure within nuclear environments, rather than nuclear technology, reactor physics or power generation science.
Whether your background comes from nuclear, power generation, transmission and distribution, industrial process plants, manufacturing facilities, data centres, defence infrastructure or other highly regulated environments, we would like to hear from you.
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will provide technical expertise across the design and delivery of electrical systems supporting major nuclear infrastructure projects.
You will work as part of multidisciplinary engineering teams delivering solutions for both existing and new-build nuclear facilities, supporting clients through design, upgrade, refurbishment and asset optimisation programmes.
This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy solving complex infrastructure challenges.
