Thispositionoffers the opportunity to work on major infrastructure and industrial developments from conceptthroughtodetailed design, procurement support, construction, commissioning, and operational handover.This is a multi-disciplinary role which requires collaboration with process, mechanical, civil,structural, instrumentation and controls teams to deliverengineering solutions which aresafe, practical, and innovative.You will join a motivated and trusted team who are dedicated toleading impactful projects tosolvereal-world challenges
Your responsibilities willinclude:
Leadingthe delivery ofelectrical projects,andmanaging design scope, budgets, schedules, resources, and overall project execution.
Undertakingand overseeingthe detailed design of electrical systems, including power distribution, low voltage systems, and associated infrastructure for complex industrial and water projects.
Providingtechnical leadership and mentorshipto engineers, designers, and graduates, including technical reviews and design verification activities.
Supportingproject delivery from planning through to commissioning,including engineering estimates, proposals, procurement support, construction, and commissioning activities.
Buildingstrong client relationships and contributingto business growththrough proposal development, tender submissions, repeat business opportunities, and strategic growth initiatives.
Championinghealth, safety, and quality excellencebyparticipatingin risk assessments, design safety reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

You are a qualifiedElectricalEngineer witha minimum of 10 yearsof relevant electrical engineering experience.Youpossessextensive experienceinthedesign of LV and MV electrical systems, power distribution, motor control, and electrical infrastructure for large capital projects Youare aseasonedproject leader who enjoys collaborating with multidisciplinary teamsto deliverpractical, innovativeengineering solutionswhichcreatepositiveclientand communityoutcomes.
In addition,you’llbring:
Experience delivering detailed electrical design for heavy industrial,waterand wastewater projects within consultancy environments, including large multidisciplinary greenfield and brownfield developments.
Good knowledge ofAustralian and NZ Standards (AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 3008), Electrical Safety Regulations, IEC and IEE Standards, and utility connection requirements
Powercador other electrical modellingsoftware
Thefollowing requirements are desirable, but not essential:
Experience working across the NZ, Australia, and the Asia-Pacific markets
Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) ortheeligibility to obtain chartership
Design and construction support experience
Contractorand vendor management experience
