Job Summary

Electrical engineering is a critical part of delivering successful customer projects, ensuring that electrical systems are designed, implemented, and commissioned safely, efficiently, and in compliance with industry standards.

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be part of the Automation and Digital Solutions organization, working closely with our Project Centre teams to support projects across a variety of customer environments and levels of complexity.

In this individual contributor role, you will serve as a technical expert for electrical engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle. You will be responsible for technical decision-making, standards compliance, design reviews, and on-site support, helping to ensure that electrical solutions meet customer requirements, regulatory obligations, and Tetra Pak quality expectations.

You will collaborate with project managers, customers, suppliers, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver reliable electrical solutions for food and beverage manufacturing operations. Your work will span design, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance validation, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and operational excellence.

This position offers the opportunity to work on complex industrial projects, engage directly with customers, and contribute to the successful delivery of solutions across multiple markets. It is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining deep technical expertise, problem-solving, and hands-on project execution in an international environment.

Success in this role requires strong electrical engineering knowledge, sound judgment in technical decision-making, and the ability to effectively guide and support colleagues and stakeholders throughout project execution.

You will be based in Monte Mor, São Paulo.

You may be required to travel to customer sites up to 70% of your time, primarily across Brazil and North America (United States and Canada), with occasional travel throughout Latin America.

Tetra Pak does not offer support for visa or relocation for this position.

We strongly encourage applications from individuals belonging to underrepresented or minoritized groups, including women, Black, Indigenous, LGBTQ+ people, people with disabilities, and others.

  • Coordinate and oversee on-site electrical activities during installation, commissioning, and testing phases, including the management of contractors when required;
  • Mentor and support colleagues by sharing technical knowledge, promoting engineering best practices, and contributing to the continuous development of engineering capabilities across the team.

We believe you have

  • A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related engineering discipline;
  • Solid experience in industrial electrical engineering and automation within manufacturing environments, preferably in the food and beverage industry;
