This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and execution of resilient, high-performance building systems across complex and mission-critical environments In this role, you will drive electrical engineering solutions from concept through construction while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver intelligent, future-ready facilities.

You’ll contribute to some of the most technically demanding and meaningful projects in the built environment—including healthcare facilities, higher education campuses, mission-critical infrastructure, and complex commercial developments. This position is ideal for an experienced engineer who thrives on solving complex technical challenges, mentoring rising talent, and delivering innovative systems that support long-term operational performance and reliability.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead electrical system design for lighting, power distribution, and specialty systems across diverse building types
• Develop construction documents, technical specifications, and engineering narratives using Revit and AutoCAD
• Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, interior designers, and multidisciplinary project teams
• Perform power system analysis and engineering evaluations utilizing tools such as SKM and/or EasyPower
• Participate in project meetings, present design concepts, and collaborate directly with clients and stakeholders
• Mentor junior engineers through technical guidance, design reviews, and team development initiatives
• Support proposal development, scope creation, fee estimates, and business development efforts
• Conduct field investigations, review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and support construction-phase activities
• Ensure projects are delivered within quality, budget, and schedule expectations
• Stay current with evolving electrical engineering technologies, codes, and industry best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• 10+ years of experience in building electrical systems design
• Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and power distribution systems
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and PDF markup tools
• Experience with SKM and/or EasyPower
• Strong communication, leadership, and multidisciplinary coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Willingness to travel occasionally for site visits

Preferred Qualifications

• Design-Build project delivery experience
• Medium-voltage electrical design experience
• Lightning protection system design experience
• LEED Accreditation
• Experience with AGI32 and/or ElumTools
• Familiarity with telecommunications, AV, security, intercom, and specialty low-voltage systems
• Experience with mission critical or healthcare facilities
