The Role

As a Senior Electrical Engineerwith Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.

  • Monitor own progress and ensure it comes within project schedule.
  • To provide all necessary input to the project control and reporting system, including attending review meetings, maintaining the progress report on weekly basis for the discipline, liaising with the project planning engineer for productivity, discipline progress planning, and preparing the discipline section of the monthly report.
  • Preparation of list of deliverable for the new projects.
  • Update PM/PEM with weekly report on the work executed, work planned for next week and constraints.
  • To prepare the discipline Project Design Criteria in accordance with tender scope of work and latest international recommended practices and standards prior to the commencement of any engineering or design activities.
  • To supervise the discipline design group by close liaison with the lead designer in order to develop practical and economic designs to achieve the project objectives.
  • To arrange for the preparation of all discipline design deliverables including philosophies, narratives, operating manuals, specifications, data sheets, calculations requisitions, and technical tender evaluations, layout drawings, detail drawings, schedules, in accordance with the project requirements and the company procedures and standards.
  • Preparation of material requisition (Requisition For Quotation), Technical bid evaluation, Vendor drawing review,
  • To specify and select appropriate equipment to allow the project to develop a practical and economic design
  • To ensure that discipline activities are being executed as per budgeted man-hours
  • To estimate time and resources requirement for engineering activities in cooper To ensure technical integrity of design deliverables for the discipline To ensure technical integrity of design deliverables for the discipline Adherence to Quality Assurance system,applicable procedures, Design basis, Applicable design guides / Standards / Specifications as applicable
  • Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the CSG, etc. Understand and follow OH&S procedures

About You

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

  • Degree in Electrical engineering (B.E. or B. Tech) ; M.Tech desired though not mandatory.
  • 18 years + plus design experience within Offshore Oil & Gas domain, with proven Lead capability on global clients viz., ADNOC, Qatar Energy, Chevron, Exxon Mobile, BP.
  • Familiarity with national and international standards such as IS, IEC, BS, OISD, IE Rules.
  • Experience in use of electrical system software such as SPEL, ETAP , SKM Power tools.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with extensive work experience within the hydrocarbons and power projects.
