Role: Senior Electrical Engineer
Location: Houston, TX 77079
Duration: 1-Year Contract
Pay Rate: $75/hr (W2)

This role focuses on overseeing electrical and controls design for capital projects, working closely with third-party engineering firms to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.

You’ll be involved in:

• Electrical design oversight for compressor stations (10,000–30,000 HP)
• Medium & low voltage systems (120V–4160V)
• PLC-based controls (Allen-Bradley, Wonderware)
• Instrumentation (Rosemount, Honeywell, RTDs, gas detection)
• Reviewing design deliverables, vendor evaluations, and supporting construction/commissioning

Ideal Background

• 7+ years in electrical engineering within oil & gas / energy / industrial projects
• Experience with hazardous classified areas (NEC)
• Strong exposure to power systems, controls, and instrumentation
• Experience supporting capital project execution
