The Role:

This roleis responsible forensuring that all Japan Plantsmaintainfull compliance with applicable regulations and Entegris Corporate EHS requirements.
The Senior Manager will oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of our EHS systems, programs, and culture across all Japan sites (Yonezawa, Tokyo, andGeino).
This individual will serve as a member of both the Japan Leadership Team and Site Management Team, collaborating closely with leaders throughout Japan.
This position will play a critical role within the Entegris Asia EHS Team by shaping and influencing the overall EHS strategy and direction in the region.
The primary location for this role is Tokyo; however, relocation toGeinoor Yonezawa may be considered. Regular monthly visits to all three sites in Japan arerequired
The successful candidate will lead a team of four staff members distributed across the three Japanese sites.

In this role you will:

Maintain compliance with national and local environmental, health and safety regulations.
Lead the implementation and validationof Entegris Corporate EHS requirements
Provide EHS guidance and compliance support tositemanagement teamto ensure compliance with regulatory & Entegris Corporate EHS requirements.
Proactively drive continuous improvementin EHS performance and programs.
Drive improvements in organizational EHS culture, awareness, and accountability.
Conduct incident / accident investigations and develop corrective and preventative action plans.
Organize site employee EHS training, lead EHS audits,and maintain EHS records.
This rolemainly coversall of sites in Japanand report directly to Asia EHS Director.

Appropriate country EHS qualification/certifications
BachelorMasterDegree in Safety, Environmental, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or Chemical Engineering, or related technical discipline
10+ years' experience on managing EHS compliance and/or programs in multinational companies
Compliance experience with EHS regulations,ISO14001 & 45001, RBA, customer audit,etc
Proven project and program management skills
Ability to earn trust,maintainpositive and professional relationships
Knowledge ofPHA(FMEA,Hazop, what-if),RCA,JSA, LOTO, area classification,etc
Basic computer knowledge, including MS Office;
Goodwritten and verbal communication skills in English.
