Key Responsibilities:
1.Ensure, verify and improve EHS compliance with internal and external requirements including a system of regular audits; closely monitor new statutory regulations or requirements from Corporate.
2.Initiate and conduct training activities to enhance EHS awareness and ensure correct reporting in Safeguard system
3.Ensure legal requirements are being followed and regular meetings are conducted with the appropriate team
4.Review and approval of new equipment regarding EHS
5.Initiate and contribute in EHS improvement projects
6.Leading a safety-first approach maintaining a zero-accident culture. Ensure and monitor work, accident prevention and safe working environment across the business
7.Fulfill assigned primary, secondary and or tertiary deputy/back-up roles as assigned and required on occasion by the business
