About the Role

As a Senior EHS Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace. You will maintain and improve Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) systems, ensuring compliance with regulations, standards, and company policies. How You Will Contribute

• Maintain EHS management systems in line with legal requirements and company standards.
• Conduct EHS risk assessments and compliance audits.
• Analyze risk data, near misses, and incidents, providing actionable insights to management.
• Lead investigations of EHS incidents, document findings, and monitor corrective actions.
• Chair EHS meetings, present data, and track progress on initiatives.
• Evaluate and improve EHS training programs.
• Collaborate with operational teams to enhance workplace safety and environmental practices.
• Perform internal audits, workplace inspections, and safety tours.
• Develop and maintain EHS procedures and documentation.
• Ensure emergency preparedness and coordinate the BHV organization.
• Manage EHS reporting and performance monitoring, advising employees and managers.
• Implement and update EHS policies and procedures.
• Review and approve Standard Work Instructions (SWI) from an EHS perspective.
• Maintain the EHS plan and legal register, ensuring compliance.
• Manage RI&E and communicate findings to management.

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor’s degree (HVK/ISM) or vocational degree (MVK) in safety science.
• At least 5 years of experience in an EHS role, preferably in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of Dutch labor laws and machine directives.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Internal auditing qualifications (ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Completed training in risk assessment and incident investigation.
