Role: Educational Leader (Diploma-Qualified)

Location: Rowville, VIC 3178

Centre: Goodstart Rowville – Liberty Avenue

Employment Type: Full Time | 12-month Fixed-Term (Leave Cover)

Pay: $41.74 - $43 p/h (Depending on experience) + $2.68 Educational Leader Allowance + Super

You may already be an Educational Leader, or you may be an experienced Senior Educator ready for the next step in your career.

You'll collaborate with Educators in your centre to observe, review, and continuously enhance the educational programs offered to children. You'll deepen the team's understanding of child development and early years content, guiding the application of the Early Years Learning Framework. Working closely with the centre leadership team, you'll lead transformative changes and champion excellence in educational practice.

About Goodstart Rowville – Liberty Avenue and the role:

Experienced Diploma-qualified Lead/Senior Educator who are ready for their first Educational Leader position.

  • Have strong knowledge of EYLF and NQS
  • Full-time, 12-month Fixed-Term position.
  • Are passionate about improving teaching practice
  • Build your Educational Leader capability in a 60-place centre while influencing practice across four age-based learning environments- Nursery, toddler, and two funded kindergarten rooms.

You’ll need:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Current VIC Working with Children Check

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.

Our campus partners, the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute (MCRI) and The University of Melbourne Department of Paediatrics, along with the RCH Foundation, are on site with the hospital in Parkville.
