Role: Early Childhood Teacher -Educational Leader

Location: Bundaberg – Takalvan Street, QLD 4670

Centre: Goodstart Bundaberg – Takalvan Street

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45.45 – $68.53 p/h (depending on qualification & experience) + $2.68 Educational Leader Allowance + Super

As an Educational Leader at Goodstart, you'll collaborate with Educators in your centre to observe, review, and continuously enhance the educational programs offered to children. You'll deepen the team's understanding of child development and early years content, guiding the application of the Early Years Learning Framework. Working closely with the centre leadership team, you'll lead transformative changes and champion excellence in educational practice.

About Goodstart Bundaberg – Takalvan Street

Are you a passionate Early Childhood Teacher ready to lead quality practice across an entire centre? Join our vibrant 107-place service and inspire excellence as our Educational Leader.

This is a unique floating leadership role, working across Nursery to Kindergarten, mentoring educators and strengthening programming in line with the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Framework guided by ACECQA.

You’ll need:

  • Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) or a Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Current QLD Working with Children Check

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
