Job Description

Join Chase’s Card and Connected Commerce Content team and bring destinations and bookable experiences to life through best-in-class storytelling. You will help cardmembers make the most of their travel benefits with content that is both useful and entertaining.

As a Senior Editor, Travel Editorial in Card and Connected Commerce Content, you concept, create, and edit stories that inspire cardmembers to book travel. You partner with editors, producers, and marketers to deliver on-time content that meets editorial standards and supports business objectives. You use performance signals and editorial insights to refine ideas and improve outcomes across digital and social channels.

Job responsibilities

  • Concept, write, edit and assign content, including destination guides that help eligible cardmembers decide what to book.
  • Own pieces end to end with minimal direction, including reporting, editing and shaping how ideas work across channels.
  • Pitch new stories and angles regularly, for guides, tentpole projects and related social videos.
  • Write and edit scripts for social videos for accuracy and voice.
  • Partner with production, photo, marketing, and communications teams to publish and promote stories.
  • Use performance signals and audience insights to inform editorial decisions.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience in editorial and digital media, including editing or assigning work to other writers.
  • Strong editorial judgment with a distinct point of view and consistent idea generation.
  • Strong fact-checking and editing skills with high attention to detail.
  • Comfort using editorial analytics to guide content decisions.
  • Ability to capture content using a smartphone.
  • Ability to ideate and edit social content formats, including social videos and carousels.
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.
  • Calm, solutions-oriented approach when navigating feedback across teams and tight timelines.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for content needs.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience in travel, hospitality, or lifestyle content.
  • Experience working in regulated or compliance-sensitive environments with structured review and approval processes.
