Position: Senior Editor
Position Type: Full-time, Permanent (Existing Vacancy)
Location: Toronto, ON (Remote)

The Opportunity:
The National Post is looking for a Foreign Editor to write foreign coverage.

What you’ll do:
• Write daily items on the key news stories around the world, drawing on multiple sources to craft compelling and pointed copy.
• Editing experience is considered an asset, as the foreign editor may be required to provide editing relief for daily news and feature stories from other teams.

Who you are:
• You have a minimum of three years of newsroom experience.
• You can work quickly but thoroughly in a fast-paced environment.
• You have a demonstrable grasp of current world affairs.
• You are able to work independently and make efficient decisions.
• You are able to work constructively as part of a remote newsroom team.
• You understand the worldview and mission of the National Post.

Compensation:
Employment offers presented to the selected candidate are based on a combination of qualifications, experience, responsibilities of the role and the candidate's location.
Base Salary: $65,000 - $75,000
