In this role, you'll:

  • Provide high quality and strategic advice on the use and application of the economic and financial frameworks, benefit realisation management and evaluation framework and business case guidelines for transport projects to support robust investment decision making.
  • Work as part of a team undertaking strategic and detailed economic and benefits review and collaborate closely within the team and across Transport.
  • Facilitate consistent and uniform application of relevant frameworks and guidelines and continuous improvement of frameworks, methodologies, processes and tools to provide robust guidance and support to project teams.

About you

  • You will bring demonstrated analytical and economic and benefits and financial modelling experience in the transport industry.
  • You have extensive experience in assessing business cases for major capital projects, including conducting cost benefit analysis, evaluating project options and financial feasibility, and completing post implementation reviews and evaluation for large capital projects.
  • You are highly proficient in undertaking gateway reviews and ensuring assurance and compliance with governance frameworks and regulatory requirements for large-scale capital projects.
  • You hold appropriate tertiary qualifications in economics, finance, commerce or related discipline or equivalent professional experience.
