Job Description

We are looking for a Senior DWH Analyst to support the development and optimisation of complex Data Warehouse solutions within a large-scale banking environment. The role focuses on data modelling, source-to-target mapping, ETL processes, SQL prototyping, and data transformation logic , translating business requirements into detailed technical specifications and scalable data structures. The consultant will work closely with DWH Developers throughout implementation, testing, and data validation, ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data processing across multiple source systems. Responsibilities • Gather and analyse user requirements • Translate business requirements into DWH data requirements • Identify the required information within the data warehouse • Design target data models • Identify source systems and source data • Prepare detailed source-to-target mappings • Design data processing logic • Prepare and test SQL prototypes • Support developers during implementation • Test completed solutions • Validate data quality and correctness • Coordinate technical work related to changes in the DWH • Prepare analytical and technical documentation Requirements • Minimum 5 years experience as a DWH / Data Warehouse Analyst • Minimum 5 years experience in data modelling and DWH processes • Very good SQL knowledge • Practical experience working with data warehouses • Experience building or developing DWH solutions • Experience designing data models • Source-to-target data mapping • Understanding of ETL and data processing • Experience analysing data from multiple source systems • Ability to prepare and validate SQL queries • Experience working with developers on DWH implementations • Strong analytical skills • Fluent Polish • English minimum B2 Nice to have • Banking or financial services experience • Microsoft Azure • Databricks • Experience with complex enterprise data environments • Higher education in IT or a related field Benefits • Flexible hybrid work model (1 day/week on-site in Warsaw/Gdańsk/Wrocław) • Solid, competitive salary • Work in a multinational environment on international projects • Comprehensive healthcare • Long-term B2B contract with a stable project pipeline
