Job Purpose

The Desktop Publishing (DTP) Specialist is responsible for creating, formatting, and producing high-quality documents and digital content in accordance with client, brand, and publishing standards. This role ensures accuracy, consistency, and visual excellence across various materials, including reports, manuals, presentations, marketing collateral, and multilingual publications. The DTP Specialist collaborates with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver error-free, print-ready, and digital-ready outputs while meeting quality, compliance, and turnaround requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Good skills in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Ms-Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience in Localization industry/projects is a must. (This means candidates should have worked on different languages in InDesign, MS Word, OCR Tasks and performing QA).
• Working knowledge of Acrobat Professional, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, OCR process is preferred.
• Should be good at managing a team of 5-7 people.
• Ability to meet fast turnaround deadlines in financial or life science projects.
• Expertise in Communication: The candidate should possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Effective communication is crucial for conveying messages clearly, collaborating with colleagues, and engaging with stakeholders.
• Comfortable to work in night shift (8.30 PM – 5.30 AM India time).
• Good IQ level and ability to take independent decisions.
• Should have experience of arranging trainings to the team members.
• Tenacious and resourceful problem-solver with deep analysis skills.
• Knowledge of creating scripts for Adobe tools would be preferred.
• Experience – 5 to 10 years

Skills & Experience

• Candidates should understand Windows/MAC environment, knowledge of email, MS - Office and the Internet.
• Understand the concept of working with Financial project and deep formatting knowledge of financial tables.
• Template creation.
• Experience of using Citrix, VPN, and any other application knowledge.
• Working experience in Localization DTP, Formatting text, quality checks.
