Shermco Industries is accredited by NETA and has one of the largest field services divisions in the industry, representing many major manufacturers. We are looking for candidates with experience or aptitude for developing skills in the area of low and medium voltage variable frequency drives and soft starts. The ideal candidate is a factory-trained Drives Technician with automation experience who has been formally factory trained and certified by a major manufacturer for repair of low and medium-voltage Drive systems. This position is highly technical and hands on. It requires flexibility in critical thinking and troubleshooting as well as attention to detail in executing manufacturer recommended preventative maintenance. Shermco Industries is seeking a Senior Drives Engineer. This position will require up to 50% travel.
