About the Role

As a Disaster Recovery Analytics Specialist, you'll be the guardian of our recovery capabilities, applying analytical rigor to ensure our resilience strategies are measurable, realistic, and defensible. You'll develop comprehensive oversight frameworks, collaborate with data teams to build insightful dashboards, and engage with stakeholders across the organization to align recovery expectations with technical realities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define recovery metrics - Create measurable indicators for RTO, RPO realism, backup completeness, and test effectiveness
  • Establish analytical frameworks - Translate resilience standards into clear data rules that ensure recovery objectives reflect technical feasibility
  • Enforce testing quality - Ensure DR testing covers full data scope with realistic failure scenarios, preventing superficial approvals when gaps exist
  • Drive recovery transparency - Create visibility across critical services and their underlying IT resources, ensuring backup relevance and recovery dependencies are clear
  • Develop data-driven insights - Work closely with Data Engineer and SMEs to define dashboard requirements and translate complex data into structured oversight views that drive decision-making
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement - Actively communicate with IT owners and domain leads to build understanding of recovery expectations and facilitate discussions on resilience trade-offs
  • Develop and maintain data models, queries, and visualization solutions (e.g. SQL, Python, Tableau/Power BI) to enable scalable reporting and actionable recovery insights
  • Analyze large-scale recovery and operational datasets to identify risks, gaps, and optimization opportunities in resilience strategies

About the Team

The Recovery Assurance & Analytics team is responsible for ensuring business continuity through robust disaster recovery capabilities across the enterprise. We combine technical expertise with analytical rigor to build resilient systems that can withstand disruptions. Our team works cross- functionally to implement and validate recovery strategies that protect critical business operations.

About You

You're an analytically-minded professional with strong technical understanding and the ability to translate complex requirements into clear frameworks. You thrive in collaborative environments while maintaining the confidence to uphold standards when necessary. Your exceptional communication skills enable you to engage effectively with both technical teams and management, building understanding and alignment around recovery objectives.

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:

  • Strong Technical Business Analysis capability in IT or infrastructure-heavy environments
  • Experience defining KPIs and control logic in complex environments
  • Experience working with structured datasets and reporting frameworks
  • Capable of building and enhancing reporting and visualization solutions (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) to provide clear, actionable insights into recovery performance and gaps
  • Strong analytical structuring capability
  • Proven ability to enforce follow-through Excellent written and verbal communication skills

These are additional nice to haves:

  • Experience with DR testing or service continuity programs
  • Exposure to cloud infrastructure environments Experience collaborating with BI or analytics teams
  • Experience presenting to senior technical or management audiences

For Slovakia, the base salary range for this position is between 3,200€ and 5,300€ for a full-time role.

The specific salary offered considers:

  • the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role
  • the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience

In the situation where you do not meet all the requirements or you significantly exceed these, the offered salary may be below or above the advertised range. In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based annual bonus.

Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least three days per week.
