Could you be the full-time Senior Document Controller in Cairo we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your document control expertise in a dynamic and collaborative environment. You’ll work alongside supportive and detail-oriented teammates.
You'll play a key role in ensuring the efficient management, accuracy, and traceability of project documentation while supporting the successful delivery of complex rail projects. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, customers, and project stakeholders, coordinating document workflows, maintaining the EDMS, monitoring key performance indicators, and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of ensuring compliance with document control procedures and maintaining data integrity within the EDMS, but also support process improvements and implement best practices.
We’ll look to you for:
Managing the document control process for engineering and project documentation
Maintaining the EDMS and ensuring data integrity
Monitoring document workflows and ensuring compliance with project schedules and procedures
Coordinating with engineering, project management, quality teams, customers, and partners regarding document submissions and comments
Preparing and maintaining document registers, transmittals, and reports
Generating and analyzing dashboard reports and KPIs
Ensuring compliance with project procedures and client requirements
Reviewing document quality and metadata accuracy before distribution
Identifying process improvement opportunities and supporting the implementation of best practices

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or an equivalent field
5-8 years of experience in document control, preferably in railway, construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects
At least 2 years of experience as a Senior Document Controller
Strong knowledge of EDMS and document control procedures and processes
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel
Excellent English communication skills (French is an advantage)
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
