Purpose:
Purpose: Provides a variety of support services within a project or program, as well as the document control team. Understanding of how to identify and handle drawings and other technical engineering documents is required. Team member attitude is a prerequisite.
Responsibilities:
Gathers, electronically logs, and distributes various engineering documents. Maintains established files of drawings and correspondence. Logs and routes interdisciplinary checks and supplier data.
Update manuals and catalogs for the assigned project
Create and maintain distribution matrices. Receives, logs and distributes all vendor documentsaccording to distribution matrix.
Log and distribute drawings for squad check.
Plot, scan and distribute documentation through EDMS.
Interface with project personnel and clients and work effectively in a multi-discipline team environment.
Upload and download documentation from client systems.
Set up and manage client accounts
Perform training on EDMS and Bluebeam for project teams
Perform Web portal training
Develop processes for the document control group
Ensure project document control standards and issued documentation meets the contract requirements
Knowledge of and demonstrated ability in corporate core competencies including customer service,
communication, teamwork, problem solving, initiative/self-management, accountability, and
flexibility/adaptability
What you will bring
Technical and Industry Experience:
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an EDMS environment such as Aconex, SPF, Livelink, FileNet, Documentum, etc.
Minimum of 4 years’ experience implementing work plans and procedures
Advanced level MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and Outlook
Working knowledge of PDF Xchange, TEAMS
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
Required:
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in Document Control
Preferred:
Preferred experience with Aconex and Bluebeam.
