Corning’s Display Technologies segment manufactures glass substrates for active matrix liquid crystal displays (“LCDs”) that are used primarily in LCD televisions, notebook computers and flat panel desktop monitors.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
1.Supplier Qualification and Readiness
·Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and qualify materials and suppliers to meet business and operational requirements.
·Coordinate qualification and verification activities with internal and external stakeholders.
·Support supplier validation activities and timely delivery of required samples.
·Ensure effective transition from qualification to operational use” or “to production support.
2.Supplier Quality Management
·Manage supplier quality performance through quality systems and procurement strategies.
·Coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional teams support production and incoming quality control.
·Improve incoming material quality and resolve supplier-related quality issues.
·Establish quality agreements with suppliers and strengthen supplier quality management.
3.Supplier Performance and Continuous Improvement
·Conduct supplier audits and performance reviews.
·Coordinate supplier change management activities.
·Drive corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers.
•B.S or above degree in Mechanical, Engineering, Chemical, IE or related major
•At least 3 years supplier quality management experience or quality management experience
•Management Skill and Leadership
•Good knowledge in Statistic Tools, SPC, QC Story and Quality relative tools, GB certified.
•Good English comprehension in spoken, writing and reading.
•Good communication and coordination skill for cross department cooperation
•Logical thinking and data oriented.
•Problem solving and decision skill.
•Aggressive and willing to take challenge and work hard and smart.
•Computer skill and project management
•Good personality, coaching and negotiation skill.
•Strongly in data analysis/ Statistical skill.
•Influence others, gains cooperation from others to obtain information and accomplish goals.
