We are seeking an experienced Senior Diversity Advisor to join our People & Culture team and help drive meaningful diversity and inclusion outcomes across the Group.

About the role

Reporting to the Manager, Diversity, this role plays an important part in delivering CIMIC Group’s diversity and inclusion strategy, with a particular focus on gender equality and measurable outcomes across our businesses.

Working closely with People & Culture teams, business leaders and stakeholders across the Group, you will translate strategy into practical initiatives, programs, reporting and governance activities that support an inclusive, respectful and high-performing culture.

This is an opportunity to influence enterprise-wide outcomes while partnering with a broad range of stakeholders across one of Australia's largest infrastructure and engineering groups.

Key responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Support the delivery of CIMIC Group's diversity and inclusion strategy, with a focus on gender equality initiatives and outcomes.
  • Coordinate and deliver diversity programs, events, workshops and annual activities aligned to enterprise priorities.
  • Partner with operating companies to embed diversity initiatives into day-to-day business practices and project environments.
  • Develop and maintain practical tools, resources and guidance materials that support consistent implementation across the Group.
  • Deliver diversity reporting, analytics and external disclosures, including supporting regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Support bid teams with diversity strategies, data, initiatives and progress reporting where required.
  • Coordinate Gender Equality Action Plan (GEAP) advisory groups, including stakeholder engagement, action tracking and progress reporting.
  • Provide practical advice and support to business leaders, People & Culture teams and other stakeholders on diversity priorities and initiatives.
  • Build strong internal and external relationships to support collaboration, engagement and positive outcomes.

About you

You are a collaborative and commercially minded diversity professional with a passion for creating inclusive workplaces and delivering measurable outcomes.

You will bring:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Diversity and Inclusion, Social Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Experience supporting diversity and inclusion initiatives within a large, complex or multi-site organisation.
  • Strong understanding of gender equality frameworks and reporting requirements, including experience with WGEA reporting and related obligations.
  • Experience coordinating programs, reporting, stakeholder engagement activities and enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • The ability to provide credible advice and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong analytical, reporting and communication skills, with the ability to present information clearly and effectively.
  • Experience working within a matrix environment and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholder groups.
  • A demonstrated ability to translate strategy into practical actions and sustainable outcomes.

Why join CIMIC Group?

At CIMIC Group, you'll be part of an organisation committed to building a diverse workforce and fostering an inclusive culture where people are respected, valued and able to contribute their best.
