Job Description

This Department of War enterprise data and analytics program delivers mission-critical capabilities that enable leaders across the Department to make faster, better-informed decisions using trusted data at scale. Leidos Digital Modernization sector is seeking an experienced Senior Disaster Recovery Analyst to support the delivery, enhancement, and adoption of enterprise data and analytics products used across multiple DoD organizations.

In this role, you will work alongside government partners, engineers, and other industry teammates to translate operational and strategic requirements into scalable, production-ready solutions. You will contribute directly to product planning, execution, and continuous improvement—helping ensure capabilities are delivered efficiently, aligned to mission priorities, and positioned for sustained success.

This position offers the opportunity to work on a high-visibility, enterprise program at the intersection of data, analytics, and emerging AI technologies. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and execute disaster recovery and continuity of operations (COOP) plans for WDP systems and services .
  • Support implementation and testing of backup, recovery, and failover capabilities across cloud and enterprise environments.
  • Conduct disaster recovery exercises, tabletop events, and recovery validation testing.
  • Analyze system dependencies, critical business functions, and recovery objectives to support resilience planning.
  • Coordinate recovery operations during outages, cyber incidents, and continuity events.
  • Support development of recovery procedures, runbooks, and operational documentation.
  • Monitor and assess backup integrity, recovery readiness, and continuity posture.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity, cloud operations, infrastructure, and DevSecOps teams to improve resilience capabilities.
  • Support incident response and cyber recovery activities following cybersecurity events.
  • Ensure compliance with NIST SP 800-53, RMF, COOP, and DoD cybersecurity requirements.
  • Identify gaps and recommend improvements to disaster recovery and resilience processes.
  • Provide reporting and metrics related to disaster recovery readiness, testing, and operational performance.
  • Participate in SAFe ceremonies including PI Planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Active Top Secret (TS) clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline and 8–12 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree in a related field and 6–10 years of relevant experience.
  • At least one of the following foundational qualification pathways consistent with DoD 8140 requirements:
    • Current DoD 8570/8140 baseline certification appropriate for Intermediate Cyber Defense Analyst roles (e.g., CySA+, Security+, CASP+, or equivalent),
    • Offerings listed in the DoD 8140 Training Repository,
    • Demonstrated equivalent training and experience qualifying under DoD 8140 foundational qualification alternatives.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in disaster recovery, continuity planning, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting disaster recovery, business continuity, or cyber resilience operations in enterprise environments.
  • Experience developing and testing disaster recovery or COOP plans.
  • Experience with backup, replication, and recovery technologies in cloud or hybrid environments.
  • Experience supporting cybersecurity incident response and recovery activities.
  • Experience applying NIST SP 800-53, RMF, and DoD cybersecurity requirements.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Experience supporting DR/COOP operations across NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and JWICS environments.
  • Experience with AWS backup and recovery services or other cloud-native resilience tools.
  • Experience supporting DevSecOps-integrated recovery and resilience processes.
  • Familiarity with Zero Trust and cyber resilience frameworks.
  • Relevant certifications such as CBCP, CISSP, or equivalent.
  • Experience with or similar data, analytics, and AI platforms.
  • Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity policies and procedures.
  • Experience with incident response tools and technologies.
  • Strong project management skills.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $107,900.00 - $195,050.00
