Job Description

Your Mission

  • Overall technical responsibility: You will assume technical management responsibility for the portfolio in the area of Video Product Technology Management and oversee the development of specifications for products in the field of imaging and OR integration. In doing so, you will be responsible for the global performance of the product portfolio throughout its entire life cycle and ensure technical and operational excellence, regulatory integrity and innovative strength.
  • Strategic portfolio development: Together with the Portfolio Strategy & Innovation Excellence and Solution Management departments, you will define the strategic direction of the portfolio. You will ensure that the products are positioned in line with market requirements and future trends and meet the requirements of the next 3–5 years.
  • Leadership and development: As a manager, you will lead and develop several senior directors and directors and their teams. You will promote a culture of technical excellence and compliance and support the continuous development of skills within the team.
  • Technical excellence & compliance: You will ensure that technical specifications are market-leading and that regulatory requirements (e.g. MDR, FDA) are met worldwide. Compliance with cybersecurity standards and the continuous improvement of technical documentation are also part of your area of responsibility.
  • Interface management: As the central point of contact, you will act as a bridge between the Solutions and CRD teams and other internal and external stakeholders. You will represent Product Technology Management in management committees and ensure smooth cooperation.
  • Promotion of innovation: You drive innovation and ensure that technological impulses are successfully transferred to product development and solution management.

Your Talents

  • Completed bachelor's degree in engineering, life sciences or similar; a master's degree is an Advantage
  • 10-15 years of experience in a technical industry or, ideally, medical Technology
  • 3-5 years of experience in a management position leading upstream or technical downstream functions
  • Knowledge of AI and innovation trends
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills and in-depth knowledge of clinical applications, medical devices and Technologies
  • Excellent conflict management, risk management and communication skills
  • Excellent written and spoken English
