To further support and drive this journey, we are transitioning to a horizontal delivery model, aligned to client process outcomes. We are now recruiting for a Head of IAS (Investment Accounting Service) Value Team to manage the teams that will build,deliverandmaintainthe Investment Accounting Standard Solution, upon which our SimCorp Managed Business Services team will deliver to our end clients.

The Value Stream area iscomprisedof several individual Value Teams that collectively deliver the outcome needed to our SimCorp Oneclients The individual Value Teams will becomprisedof all the resources, skills and capabilitiesrequiredto plan, code/configure, build, test, release, deploy,operateand monitor our solutions.

As Head of IAS ValueTeam ,you will be a key member of the Operations organization’s Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Head of Business Services Value Stream.

What you willbe responsible for

  • Launch the IAS Value Team including identification of required outcome teams and the key roles and be a Change Leader for the transformation to IAS Value Team and alignment of operating model with key stakeholders.

  • Lead the team to ensure that the IAS Value Team delivers maximum value to its internal and external customers whilemaintainingoperational efficiency andhigh levelof engagement.

  • Drive the effort to ensure that the IAS Value Team will build andmaintaina SimCorp One standard solutionrequiredto run the IAS Service

  • Identifyand address inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement within the IAS Value Team to enhance overall performance and efficiency, in collaboration with the Value Stream Management Office.

  • Plan, execute, and manage the IAS Value Team, ensuring they align with businessobjectivesand strategic goals and deliver highly standardized solutions in alignment with overall strategy and roadmap of the Business Services Value Stream.

  • Collaborate with other Value Team leads in Business Services Value Stream to ensure alignment and consistency in operational delivery and meet shared goals

  • Strategically engage, manage, and persuade key stakeholders, managing expectations, communicating progress, ensuringprogressand addressing concerns

  • Work collaboratively with SimCorp Managed Business Services, Product Management, and other relevant functions to ensure alignment for repeatable standardized solutions

  • Manage resources (people, budget, time) effectively to ensure outcomes are delivered on time and within budget andultimately toreduce onboarding duration and effort, and to create a more efficient run operation

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks that couldimpactthe IAS ValueTeamperformance or project delivery.

What we value

  • 10+ years of experience delivering services to clients who consume mission-critical, enterprise software

  • A history of innovation within the services delivered and the service delivery model, including notable experience with implementing and operating horizontal, DevOps aligned delivery models

  • People Leadership experience and proventrack recordof leading and developing high-performing teams

  • Business knowledge within Investment Accounting Services and understanding of client business processes

  • Established experience in collaborating with Product Development, Operations, Consulting and Commercial teams

  • Solid understanding of the technology industry and the fundamentals of a SaaS business

  • Well-developed analytical and creative problem-solving skills, with ability to be practically engaged and focus on the details without losing sight of the bigger picture, especially within optimization and organizational design

  • Skilled in analyzing processes with a particular focus on automation and continuous optimization.

  • Ability to mobilize stakeholders and form trusting relationships in a broad organizational context

  • Great collaborative skills, highly motivated colleague who works well with others and is result-oriented.

For Toronto Location

This is an active, existing vacancy. The salary range for this position isCAD 192 000 – 242 000. Base pay may vary based on factors such as years of experience,skillsand qualifications.
