Our team is looking for a Senior Director to play a key role on our growing national Transaction Services team. As part of this role, the new Director will lead professional Transaction Services to our clients and work along with the senior leadership team to set and implement strategic goals for BTCC.

The role involves leading the growth of the Transaction Services practice through business development, relationship management, and market-facing initiatives. As a key client contact, the Director will oversee transaction advisory engagements, including financial due diligence and quality of earnings reviews, while driving practice development, mentoring team members, and strengthening Baker Tilly's presence in the marketplace in alignment with the firm's vision and strategic goals.

Your role:

• Lead and manage buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory services, delivering high-quality due diligence, quality of earnings, valuation support, and transaction-related financial analysis.
• Participate in the planning and execution of the firm's long-term Transaction Services growth strategy and business development initiatives.
• Actively manage key relationships with existing and prospective clients, serving as a trusted advisor throughout the transaction lifecycle.
• Lead financial due diligence engagements, including coordinating with management teams, buyers, sellers, lenders, and other professional advisors.
• Review and oversee quality of earnings analyses, working capital assessments, cash flow analysis, and key transaction-related financial considerations.
• Provide valuation and transaction support for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, recapitalizations, and financing transactions.
• Lead engagement teams, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, on time, and to the highest professional standards.
• Identify and develop market opportunities, build prospective client relationships, and lead proposal preparation for Transaction Services engagements.
• Develop and mentor team members, fostering technical excellence and a collaborative culture.
• Build community awareness of Baker Tilly's Transaction Services capabilities, brand, service offerings, and value-added expertise.
• Assist in the identification and implementation of strategic marketing and brand development initiatives.
• Lead and participate in networking events, industry conferences, seminars, and promotional activities to enhance market presence and generate business opportunities.
• Collaborate with Corporate Finance, Tax, Audit, and Advisory teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
• Other duties as assigned.

A successful candidate will have:

• 7+ years of experience in Transaction Services, Deal Advisory, Corporate Finance, or related financial advisory roles.
• CPA, CBV, CFA, MBA, or a comparable finance or accounting designation.
• Strong expertise in financial due diligence, Quality of Earnings, working capital, and transaction-related analysis.
• Proven ability to manage and execute complex transaction engagements from start to finish.
• Demonstrated success in business development, client relationship management, and practice growth.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and report-writing skills.
• Strong leadership experience, including team development and project management.
• Advanced analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
• Proven track record of taking initiative.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance.
• Self-Starter looking to build
