Why This Role Exists:

Evinovaoperates two distinct technical delivery tracks.eCOAdelivery runs at significant scale, spanning study configuration, licensing, translation, and the full lifecycle of regulated clinical trials. SaaS delivery is the growth engine, bringing AI-native study design and portfolio management products to market at pace. Both tracks require clinical rigour, platform fluency, and an absolute intolerance of inefficiency.

This role leads both. The Senior Director, Technical Delivery Services is the single accountable leader for howEvinovadeploys, configures, and sustains its products across every engagement. They will set the operating model, own the efficiency agenda, and build automation capability that enables the organisation to grow without growing headcount at the same rate. This is a role with significant organisational scope and direct accountability for delivery quality, compliance, and commercial margin.

Technical Delivery Leadership:

  • Lead all technical delivery acrosseCOAand SaaS product lines, owning delivery quality, compliance, and timelines from study start-up through debut and maintenance

  • Set the delivery operating model across both tracks, defining standards, entry/exit criteria, and governance that scale without linear headcount growth

  • Drive the organisation toward weeks-not-monthseCOAstudy start-up, deploying automation and repeatable frameworks to compress cycle time while maintainingGxPcompliance

  • Own delivery model decisions: define when a service should be run in-house, automated, or transitioned to a managed service provider, and complete those decisions

eCOADelivery:

  • Accountable for configuration, validation, testing, and study maintenance across theeCOAportfolio, ensuring delivery meets quality, timeline, and regulatory commitments

  • Own theeCOAlicensing model: manage relationships with instrument copyright holders, drive licensing efficiency, and scale the process to support growing study volumes

  • Own translation services foreCOA lead vendor management, quality governance, and the commercial and operational decisions thatdeterminewhether translation is insourced, outsourced, or automated

  • Define and enforce release governance standards foreCOA, working cross-functionally with Product and Engineering to ensure patient safety controls are embedded in every release cycle

SaaS Technical Delivery:

  • Build and lead SaaS technical delivery capability from the ground up, covering study design and portfolio management products across all active external engagements and the flagship AZ programme

  • Define the deployment and onboarding model for SaaS products, including configuration, data integration, UAT management, andhypercare, calibrated to different customer tiers and deployment types

  • Establish clinical data standardsexpertisewithin the SaaS delivery team, ensuring the team can govern conformance,validatemodel inputs, and support customers through complex data integration challenges

  • Own the technical resolution of customer concerns and critical delivery issues across SaaS engagements, with accountability for root cause analysis and permanent fix

Efficiency and Automation:

  • Identifyand implement efficiency opportunities across the technical delivery function, including tooling investment, process redesign, AI-assisted configuration, and managed service transitions where appropriate

  • Actively use AI tooling to accelerate delivery workflows, and hold the team to the same standard: AI literacy is a core operational requirement, not a differentiator

  • Build the capability and commercial cases as needed, positioningEvinovato monetise delivery efficiency with external customers

People and Capability:

  • Lead a geographically distributed delivery organisation of approximately 70 people acrosseCOAand SaaS technical delivery tracks, with multiple direct reports at senior manager and director level

  • Set clear performance expectations, build capability in the team, and create career pathways thatretaindelivery talent as the organisation scales

  • Own talent acquisition for the technical delivery function, working to define the right profiles and source from relevant AI-native SaaS and life sciences talent pools

Cross-functional andCustomer:

  • Partnercloselywith Product and Engineering to translate roadmap changes into delivery impact, and feed operational insight back to build platform development priorities

  • Act as the senior technical delivery voice in customer critical issues, sponsor governance forums, andaccount reviews Expected direct senior customer engagement andon sitepresence asrequired

  • Represent Technical Delivery Services inEvinovaleadership discussions on capacity, investment, and the commercial delivery model

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience

  • Demonstrabletrack recordof compressingeCOAor digital clinical trial study delivery from months to weeks through process, automation, or operating model change

  • Hands-on experience leading a SaaS technical delivery functionin a clinical / digital health environment

  • Demonstrable understandingofeCOAlicensing and/or translation management at an operational and commercial level

  • Proven ability to assess delivery activity and make a sound,commercialdecisionsaboutdelivery model and execution

  • Active and demonstrable AI tooling use as part of day-to-day delivery practice

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $ 184,312.00 - $276,468.00 USD Annual. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
