Short Description

Senior Director of Talent Acquisition leads with strategic thinking and an innovation-forward mindset, shaping workforce strategies aligned to enterprise goals. This role prioritizes data-driven decision-making to optimize hiring outcomes, while building and developing high-performing teams. With strong executive presence, the Sr. TA Director partners with senior leaders to drive continuous improvement and positions Talent Acquisition as a trusted advisor and growth enabler for the organization.

  • Develop an enterprise-wide full cycle talent acquisition function focusing on acquiring talent to meet the current and future needs of Cooper University Health Care (CUHC).
  • Identify and build on internal and external practices that are leading edge, scalable, culturally consistent, and forward-thinking.
  • Design and implement recruiting processes and policies that are aligned to the values, mission and strategic plan of CUHC.
  • Develop and implement a talent pipeline strategy that ensures CUHC meets its future talent needs.
  • Develop metrics and tracking mechanisms to measure results, impact and cost-effectiveness of the talent acquisition team and provide meaningful and actionable analysis to drive continuous improvement efforts. These metrics should be designed to minimize days to fill and cost per hire as well as maximize new hire retention.
  • Establish best practices for use of talent acquisition technology and implement them across the Enterprise.
  • Manage and develop a high functioning team of recruitment professionals.
  • Provides strategic direction on talent acquisition related topics.
  • Ensures legal compliance.

Experience Required

  • 5-7 years demonstrated, successful recruitment and managerial responsibilities, experience in health care and physician practices preferred.
  • Strategic planning and managerial/supervisory skills.
  • Effective communication skills and superior writing ability.
  • Analytical and decision-making skills.
  • Superior public relations skills.
  • Strong, senior-level presentation skills, PC literate with knowledge of standard MS Office software.

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, Masters degree preferred
